He opened the door and my heart smiled, he stood only 4 inches taller than me, his eyes were blue and it made me laugh knowing they were really the dull brown that mine were, his lips curved and i noticed he was smiling at me. At that very moment i collapsed in his arms and we both began to cry. . . My daddy was here.
That was the last time I saw my daddy. He past away on June 8th of 2008. His heart failed multiple times throughout the year from the excessive amount of alcohol he was consuming. Usually the doctors brang him back but that day, they couldn't. That day my heart broke, My daddy was truly gone. My daddy will never be here again.
